My Mum and Dad had very strong work ethics and encouraged me to
pursue my goals but also taught me to enjoy the experience along the way.

To move away from Banking/Trading environment to pursue a career within the luxury sector.

I have a tendency to over complicate the process and find it harder to concentrate.
Q8 - How do you invest in your own wellbeing. How do you look after yourself?
I have been privileged to work alongside Clinical Nutritionist, Stephanie Moore, who
instilled in me the core elements to a healthier and more balanced approach to food
and well-being. So, I really try and live by her mantra of the 80/20 approach – 80%
diet comprising of freshly prepared food and then 20% naughty treats! Also working
for the amazing award winning sun care brand Ultrasun, has made me realise the
importance of amazing sun protection in all weathers!
Q9 - If you could change one thing about the spa and wellness industry what would it be and why?
Firstly, many Spa’s approach to “Wellness/Wellbeing” - this has become a major contributor to the Spa offering, however, this should not solely apply to treatments/facilities, this needs to be reflected in the quality of the food and
nutritional value provided. For example, many spas offer recovery breaks for post
chemo guests, however, will offer chips and heavily sweetened options within their
menu, which is completely counter-productive. Plus, an industry definition of the
word ‘spa’ - this has different connotations depending on your audience, this can
range from a 5 star destination ‘Spa’ to a Nail ‘Spa” on the high street. More clarity
and regulation required.
Q10 - Finally, What’s your favourite quote or the best advice you’ve ever been
